
Chen Yue
Born in Ningbo, China, Chen Yue started learning the piano at the age of 4 and performed a solo recital at the young age of 11. She graduated with the Artist Diploma in Performance and the Master of Performance with Distinction at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Dina Parakhina.

Chen Yue received numerous awards and prizes, including First Prize at the Steinway International Piano Competition, Huadong Area, China in 2017, First Prize at the 4th and 5th “Pearl” Youth Piano Competition in Zhejiang province, First Prize at the 3rd Internationaler Deutscher Irmler-Klavierwettbewerb and the Special Gold Award in the 3rd International Art Festival in Seoul, Korea, among many other prizes.

A recipient of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Full Scholarship, Leong Yoon Pin Scholarship and the Royal College of Music Musical Excellence Award in acknowledgement for her excellence and achievement, Chen Yue was the Grand-Prize Winner of the Kris Foundation Fund Concerto Competition 2018 performing Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 and the winner in the Piano category of the Concerto Competition 2016 and 2017. She received the Gold Award at the First Nanyang International Music Competition in 2017. She was awarded the Best Pianist at the 30th Albeniz music festival in Camprodon, Spain.
